An exciting sequel to 'The City of Ember'! I really enjoyed it. It's clean and adventurous. The citizens of Ember had emerged from the underground city, scared and awed at the bright, wonderous world around them. When they find a little town called 'Sparks', in need of medical help and food, the people of Sparks reluctantly oblige and give them a deadline of six months to learn how to cook over and prep. a fire, build homes, and farm. When contention escalates, and people are blamed, will the two cities ever find peace with one another?
