Very chilling and exciting. This book really gives a little explanation to what really happened before Ember, before the World destroyed itself. Niki is off to her recently deceased great-grandfathers home with her Aunt, to help her fix it up so they can sell it. While there, in the town of Yonwood, she notices mysterious activities among the citizens. When she hears the story of their great supposed Prophet who has apparently been struck into a deep sleep by God, she gets curious and decides to help. Faced with the mission of reporting any odd activities among the people, she unravels the truth. Will the Prophet of Yonwood ever awake?
